While we don’t use tables here, here’s a simple breakdown of how MET marks typically convert into ranks:
If you score above 170, you're likely in the top 1,000.
Marks between 140–170 usually result in a rank between 1,000–5,000.
With scores in the range of 110–140, expect ranks between 5,000–10,000.
For marks under 100, your rank might go beyond 10,000.
Note: These estimates can vary based on the paper difficulty and seat matrix for 2025.
The top courses at Manipal Institute of Technology include:
Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
Artificial Intelligence & Data Science
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
Information Technology (IT)
Mechanical Engineering
Mechatronics
Civil Engineering
To get CSE at Manipal main campus, you’ll likely need a rank under 3,000. For ECE or IT, a rank below 6,000 is often good enough. Lower branches may go up to 15,000 or more, depending on the year.
If you don’t qualify for Manipal main campus, you can also get top branches at MIT Jaipur or MIT Sikkim with a higher rank.
Our Manipal MET Rank Predictor 2025 covers all three campuses:
MIT Manipal (Karnataka) – Main and most competitive campus
MIT Jaipur (Rajasthan) – Great alternative with quality infrastructure
MIT Sikkim – Smaller intake, easier admission
You'll know exactly which campus + branch combination suits your predicted rank.
To be eligible for B.Tech admission through MET, you must:
Have passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject (Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology).
Have appeared in MET 2025 exam.
Qualify the minimum cutoff rank during counseling.
Our predictor helps you gauge whether your MET score is strong enough before counseling even begins.
Manipal follows centralized online counseling based on MET rank. Here's what you need to keep in mind:
Counseling usually happens in multiple rounds (Round 1 to Spot Round).
Seat allotment is based on MERIT + PREFERENCE.
You’ll need to lock your choices carefully, based on your predicted rank.
Upgradation is possible if you don't get your desired branch in early rounds.
That’s why using a rank predictor before counseling is so important—you don’t want to miss out due to wrong preferences!

Yes. Predictors give estimates. Your actual MET rank may vary slightly depending on:
Total number of applicants
Paper difficulty level
Normalization (if applied)
Tie-breaking rules
So while predictors give a great starting point, treat them as guidance, not gospel.
Use Predictor Data Wisely: Combine your predicted rank with past cutoffs to shortlist branches.
Be Realistic: Apply for both dream and safe options.
Watch for Spot Rounds: Even if you miss in earlier rounds, good options open up later.
Stay Updated: Follow official MET website for real-time updates.
