This user-friendly tool helps you quickly and easily verify the status of universities in India based on a comprehensive dataset downloaded from the University Grants Commission (UGC) website. It's important to note that this data is not retrieved in real-time from the UGC website.

How to Use:

1. Select State: Choose your desired state from the dropdown menu. Available states are dynamically populated based on the data in our downloaded UGC spreadsheet.

2. Select Type: Once you select a state, a new dropdown menu will appear displaying the available types of universities within that state. Choose the type you're interested in (e.g., Public, Private, Deemed).

3. Select University: After selecting both state and type, the tool will populate a list of universities that match your criteria. Select the specific university you want to verify.

4. View Details: Upon selecting a university, the tool displays its details, including name, address, zip code, state, and most importantly, its verification status. This information is sourced from the downloaded UGC data, ensuring its accuracy reflects the data available at the time of download.
